About "The Wood"

St John's Wood Bridge Club - or "The Wood" as it is known to members – has been providing a friendly welcome to bridge players of all standards for 35 years.

Under new management (since August 2010) we aim to offer the full range of services:

• Chicago-style rubber bridge for relatively experienced players looking to play for short periods or long sessions.
• Duplicate sessions for a range of levels.
• Bridge lessons and supervised practice for beginners, returning bridge players and those just looking to improve their understanding and skills.

Our facilities include an extensive playing area (including a fully air-conditioned room available for private hire) and a wide range of meals and drinks.

We are open daily from 2.00pm and provide the perfect place for those wishing to play for an hour or two as well as for dedicated bridge addicts who want to play for longer. Do drop in or please feel free to call or email us.
